Gelisa Greer, LPC, M.Ed is a social change advocate, and therapist, servicing North Eastern Ohio, in Cuyahoga and Summit counties. Gelisa has been researching child development and family systems for over 10 years. In that time, she has worked in direct service with several populations (foster care & system involved, early childhood, maternal depression, school age, drop-out, and adults). Her experiences with families and youth of Northeast Ohio have inspired a journey of youth empowerment and professional development for educators, community workers and change agents. Gelisa created TGS so that families of marginalized communities are afforded opportunity, as well as, met with equity and respect when navigating society.
The mission of TGS directly reflects the views of our founder who believes that "the empowerment of the youth and their family's today, is the greatest investment in tomorrow's to come."
